Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers beyondherba.in and orders placed through it.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, email address and mobile number.
- Your delivery address, city and PIN code.
- The contents and value of your order.
We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider; we receive only a reference confirming that a payment succeeded and for how much.
When you contact us or subscribe
- The name, email, phone number and message you send us.
- Your email address, if you sign up to the newsletter.
Automatically
We use analytics to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, rough location, device and browser. This is aggregate and is not used to identify you personally. Your cart is stored in your own browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us until you check out.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Who we share it with
- Courier partners — your name, address and phone, so they can deliver the parcel.
- Our payment provider (Razorpay) — your name, email and phone, to process the payment.
- Our email provider (Resend) — your email address, to send transactional email.
- Analytics providers — Google Analytics, Meta and Microsoft Clarity, for aggregate usage data.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoice records: 8 years, as required for tax records in India.
- Contact-form messages: 2 years.
- Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your data, except records we must keep by law;
- stop sending you marketing email — every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also just reply and ask.

Cookies
We use only what the site needs to function, plus the analytics named above. We do not use advertising cookies to track you across other websites. You can block cookies in your browser; the shop will still work, though your cart may not persist between visits.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and our database is access-controlled. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store payment credentials at all, which removes the most sensitive category of data from the picture entirely.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
